Number pools assign unique phone numbers to every user for a specific period of time allowing Ringba to track detailed information about your callers giving you powerful information to manage and optimize your campaigns.
You can create number pools directly in the campaign creation wizard on the ‘Numbers’ step, or you can create and manage them under the main menu option ‘Numbers’.
When creating a number pool, the following options are available:
- Number Lock
- Idle Limit
- Pool Size
- Area Code
- Assign Publisher
Select the country you would like phone numbers in for your number pool.
Your number pool name will be used around Ringba to identify the pool. We suggest using shorter names when possible.
Number Lock – Optional
The amount of time in seconds you’d like Ringba to lock a number to a user’s session after they leave your site or close their browser. This field is optional and if left blank Ringba will automatically manage your number lock limits based on your number pool’s availability.
Idle Limit – Optional
The amount of time in seconds you’d like Ringba to lock a number to a user’s session if they leave their browser window open without any activity. This field is optional and if left blank Ringba will automatically manage your idle limits based on your number pool’s availability.
The total telephone number’s you’d like allocated to your number pool. As soon as you create your pool, Ringba will allocated your numbers immediately.
Enabling toll-free will allocate only toll free numbers to your number pool. Ringba number pools can accommodate either toll free or local phone numbers, but not both in the same pool.
Area Code – Optional
For the United States and other specific countries you are able to select the area code in which you’d like to create numbers in. This is extremely useful when you are doing locally targeted campaigns as users will see the number and associate it with a local business.
Whenever possible you should locally target your campaigns.
Contains – Optional
This will direct Ringba to search for phone numbers that contain a specific pattern of numbers that you desire. For instance, if you enter 333 and click ‘See Numbers’ you will be given examples of available numbers that Ringba will allocate for you.
If you enter an area code requirement and a custom number requirement, Ringba will try and find numbers that contain both.
Assign Publisher – Optional
Assigning a publisher to a number gives them the ability to track their calls.
