Javascript Pixel

Javascript pixels are simple JS tags hosted on a third party tracking server used to gather data about a user and attribute actions to them. Some JS pixels function as a conversion pixel as well as an audience pixel, tagging and tracking every user with cookies and allowing the users to sort through all the data the pixel captures.

Google Adwords and Facebook Ads both use JS audience pixels to gather data and attribute actions to specific traffic in their systems.
