A postback pixel is a URL where data is passed back to a 3rd party server using cURL, secure cURL, an HTTP Post, or some other type of automated server-to-server communication method. Postback pixels allow for accurate tracking and reconciliation of stats. This type of tracking happens on the back-end of systems so it cannot be tampered with by users and is considered the most accurate and secure way of tracking conversion data.
