Search Engine Marketing is a reference to the process of buying traffic from search engines like Google, Bing or Yahoo. When buying traffic from these platforms a marketer specifies a bid on a keyword or group of keywords so when they are searched by a user their ad is displayed. Typically these systems function on a CPC, or Cost Per Click, basis. SEM Requires practice, optimization and attention to detail to master.
